Product · Public beta
A second set of eyes for Australian heavy-vehicle drivers.
PadRoute is a public beta for Australian heavy-vehicle drivers who want a clearer view of published access, conditions and useful stops before and during a run.
Know the road
Set the vehicle, then check the whole trip.
Choose from more than 1,100 vehicle presets built from NHVR vehicle definitions. PadRoute checks the route section by section and shows roads published as approved, where conditions apply, what is restricted and where the data cannot provide a clear answer.
During turn-by-turn guidance, PadRoute can warn when the access status changes ahead so the driver has context before reaching it.
Know the stop
See what is available before pulling in.
Find rest areas, service stations, truck parking, public weighbridges and inspection sites across Australia. Time-stamped driver reports add recent practical context to the published location information.
Road access checks currently use available NHVR data for the ACT, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria. PadRoute checks for new NHVR data every week.
Evidence and limits
Read the condition and open the source.
PadRoute shows the published condition, identifies its source and lets the user open official sources for their own check. Access information, notices, permits and conditions can change or require interpretation.
PadRoute supports route review and decision-making. It does not replace official maps, notices, permits or the operator’s responsibility to verify the requirements that apply to a journey.
- Available through Apple TestFlight and Google Play beta.
- No PadRoute account or payment details required during beta.
- Every current feature is unlocked while the beta is running.
- Designed for drivers now, with fleet tools being shaped through operator feedback.
