A sensible build decision
Build, buy or integrate—without ideology.
Custom software earns its place when the workflow is genuinely distinctive, existing products create unsafe workarounds, or integration is central to the outcome. It is not automatically the best answer.
We will say when an established platform should be configured or connected instead. The goal is an operational improvement that can be supported, understood and extended—not custom code for its own sake.
